Hi my name is Jennifer Ritchie. CEO of Cool Candle.
I would like to tell you a little bit about me and Cool Candle.
I am a mother of 2 lovely kids ages 19 and 12 And now I am a proud grandma of baby girl Angel
Born September 20th 2008 And a newly signal mom.

I started Cool Candle in 1997.
In my kitchen as a way to make a little extra money for my family.
I always new I wanted to run my own company but after school I meet
Alex and started a family. I knew I still wanted to start a business but also wanted to
Be home with my kids. As I looked for the right opportunity for me and my family
I had tried a few thing Like painting ceramic Santa’s and selling on e-bay but because
Of the time it took to paint one it was hard to turn it in to a real business.

One day I was at my sister home and she showed me a candle she had just got for
A lot of money. A few of her friends came buy saying they had got that same candle
Why it was nice It was like so many other out their. It got me thinking about making
Them my self. But I didn’t want the same candles as everyone had.
I wanted my company to be a unique one. After lot of research to find the best unique way to
make a high quality candle I found Gel and soy wax!
Gel is great because it let you make very unique candles. Gel candles burn 2 times as long
as other waxes on the market today. It is some what new to the candle market and a bit costly
to get started with (why they Are not yet a big part of other candle company) But the beauty
and uniqueness of them make it well worth the investment.
I love the way it design is only limited to my own creativity. When mixed with other wax pieces
the Gel and Soy wax. Makes a one of a kind candle!

It didn’t take very long for my investment to pay off.
Before I was even ready to start selling I had people that had hard about them stop buy
Wanting to buy them. That first year I had made my first candles a few week’s before
Christmas With in days I had a non stop stream of people I didn’t even know stopping by
begging me to sell them these candles they wanted to give as gifts. That first few weeks
alone I had to hirer help to keep up! I soon knew working only out of my home Was not going
to cut it. My kitchen why good sized just wasn’t big enough. I soon got my warehouse/ shop
and hired more employees. But why I still wanted to spend most of my time with my family also
I made sure to have only the best working with me. This lets me stay working from home 75% of
my work time. Many of our first employees are still with us today!

I soon had people ask me if their was a way they to could sell Cool Candle and stay home
with their kids. In 1999 we started our consultants Program!
Something I am very pored of! I love helping other moms be their for their families.
Cool Candle when online in 2003. And today is one of the leading gel candle
companies in the US.

To day We are proud to now offer many ways to work at home
with little to know money. Are goal is to help as many moms and dads
as we can be their for their families and full fill their dreams of
owning their own unique business!
